Stefan Tittel

CEO & Managing Director Quantumrock GmbH

Stefan is the founder and CEO of quantumrock. His background consists of continuously building successful FinTech enterprises. Stefan’s insights and understanding of high technology have led him to start and run many technology orientated financial companies like Crossgate AG, Masterpayment AG, Traxpay AG and quantumrock. His continuous focus on long-term leadership and management development gives the experience needed to start, build and scale companies where applied science can bring paradigm shifts in benefits.

Michael Morsch

CFO & Managing Director Quantumrock GmbH

Michael has more than ten years’ experience as a CFO in different technology-driven financial sector companies. As a Certified Executive Director he has worked for a European licensed financial institution and served as CFO for subsidiaries of stock listed companies such as SAP AG and Net1 UEPS Technologies. Michael is internationally focused and results orientated. He cofounded the payment service provider Masterpayment AG and real estate developer Sinus Cultor. Michael holds a Degree in Business from the University of Würzburg.

Étienne Schneider

Managing Director Quantumrock Securitization S.à r.l.

Over the course of his long career, Etienne Schneider has left an indelible mark on Luxembourg’s political scene. Born on the 29th January 1971 in Luxembourg, he is a graduate of the Brussels Management School (ICHEC) and the University of Greenwich in London. In 1995, he earned a degree in business and financial sciences.

Driven by his passion for politics and his desire to serve his country, he accepted a cabinet post in Jean-Claude Juncker’s government in February 2012, initially as Minister for the Economy and Foreign Trade. Following the legislative elections on the 20th October 2013, Étienne Schneider was appointed Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Economy, Minister for Internal Security and Minister for Defence. Five years later he was re-appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Economy, and accepted the position of Minister for Health.

He decided to leave government in 2020 to return to the business world, a domain in which he excelled prior to his role in public office. He has held the position of chairman in numerous large companies such as Enovos, Creos, Cegedel, and the Société Electrique de l’Our. He was also vice-chairman of the Société Nationale de Crédit de l’Investissement.

For a long time, he was the elder statesman (in terms of seniority) of the Ministers for the Economy of the European Union. However, his economic fibre eventually gained the upper hand and he became an independent director on several boards of directors, notably Arcelor Mittal, Besix Group and Jan de Nul.

A renowned public speaker, he regularly addresses the Luxembourg School of Business and uses his vast expertise to inspire audiences from the world of business.

Frank Pressler

Managing Director Quantumrock Securitization S.à r.l.

Frank is the founder and CEO of Main Capital GmbH, an investment banking boutique, which has accompanied a large number of companies as part of their IPO. He was also a board member of two German securities trading banks.

Bernhard Brand

Highly experienced and qualified senior banking executive with a 30+ year international performance history in Corporate and Private Banking as well as Business Governance.

Successfully led multi-cultural, sophisticated business units with full P&L and expansion responsibilities. Proven track record of successful start-ups, turnaround  situations and business development across various regions.

Worked in several national and international locations, i.e. Frankfurt, Bremen, Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Saigon), Geneva, Bahrain, Dubai and Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Former CEO of Hindujabank Middle East Ltd (for almost 4 years until end of 2021), a wholly owned independent subsidiary of S.P. Hinduja Banque Privée (formerly Hinduja Bank Switzerland) andoperating from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) under the supervision and regulation of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), holding the most comprehensive DIFC Banking License (Category 1).

Prior to this, holding several senior executive positions at National Bank of Abu Dhabi PJSC for more than 10 years, i.e. Head of UAE Business Governance – Personal Banking Group based in Abu Dhabi and Head of Private Banking Northern Emirates and Offshore out of Dubai.

Previous to this role, heading a dedicated Wealth Management & Investment Sales Unit at Mashreqbank PLC, Private Banking in Dubai for 3 years.

Preceding this, holding various senior roles at Deutsche Bank AG for 15 years, including Senior Representative in Bahrain, Investment Manager in Geneva, AVP at Deutsche Bank’s Private Banking Germany Business Development & Strategic Planning department.

Initially started the banking career with Deutsche Bank AG in Corporate & Wholesale Banking in Germany, covering local SME corporate clients in Germany as well as later multi-national clients as Senior Relationship Manager for Deutsche’s Global Corporate Banking arm based in Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Saigon), Vietnam.

Currently (since 2022) working in Dubai as Senior Representative for The Factor Y, a Swiss business incubator and accelerator company, that has invented an efficient ecosystem including a new innovation rollout process and company building model for new SMEs.

Thomas Lorenzen

Managing director Quantumrock Capital GmbH

Thomas has more than 25 years of experience in capital investments; investment funds fee model research and developing investment strategies. He regularly writes and comments in financial journals. Thomas has successfully helped found many licensed financial services institutions and has extensive expertise in compliance, risk management and internal auditing. Since 2005 he has held executive positions for financial services organizations and now develops automated trading systems for asset management and structuring of exchange-traded securities.

Timothy Lloyd

Chief Business Development Officer

Timothy is quantumrock’s Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he has worked for international private equity and working capital finance boutiques in New York City, London and Munich and holds a B.Sc. in Economics and M.Sc. in Finance from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.

Hubertus Väth

Senior Advisor

During his 12-year tenure at Deutsche Bank, Hubertus Väth held the positions of Analyst, Head of Communications and Chief Economist for Asia and Global Head of Marketing for Wealth Management at offices in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Singapore. He is the Founder of the NewMark Group and CEO of NewMark Finanzkommunikation GmbH, established in 1997 and specialized in market research, business consulting and financial communication. In 2008, Väth was appointed Managing Director of Frankfurt Main Finance, the Financial Centre initiative for Frankfurt and the leading Financial Centre in Germany and the Euro Zone. In 2018, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC), which was created to facilitate cooperation and exchange of best practices among international financial centres and to foster greater exchange with international public authorities. Väth regularly speaks at international financial conferences on Brexit, FinTechs and Financial Centre Development; Euro Clearing and Green Finance. Väth is a Special Fellow of the Financial Think Tank of AFCA and publishes regularly in this capacity. He is a member of Rotary Club and has a Diploma in Economics from the University Mainz, Germany. Väth is an occasional lecturer at Universities and Business Schools.

Dr. Stephan Hauska

Head of Sales

Dr. Stephan M. Hauska has 25 years of international experience in Global Wealth Management, Family Office Services and Institutional Sales. Stephan previously held key senior management positions at Fürstlich Castell’sche Bank, Spudy & Co. Familiy Office, Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie and UBS. He started his career as a Consultant at Ernst & Young in the Financial Services Sector.

As Head of Office in Munich at Fürstlich Castell’sche Bank and Spudy & Co. Family Office, he efficiently led and built sales teams and maintained strong UHNW client relationships. At Lombard Odier Hentsch & Cie in Zurich he was a member of the Management Board and Head of the German Market. Before that, Stephan served with UBS in Zurich as a member of the Global Key Clients Executive Committee, where he oversaw Key Clients from Central Europe and established international advisory teams.

Stephan received his Dr. rer. pol. Degree and Diploma in Business Administration at the University of Siegen, with additional studies at University Milan and Harvard University.
